Best Car Wash – 6th Avenue Car Wash
Owners Shelley Gordon and Mike Kerkowich describe 6th Avenue Carwash and Uniglass Plus Ziebart as an auto detail complex. The 12 service bays for car washing are cleaned after every use, making sure you don’t step in someone else’s mud while cleaning, and are also lit with extra bright LED lights so that you can clearly see what you’re doing. With cleanliness and extra lighting, the safety and security of their clients is of utmost importance. Shelley Gordon and her partner Mike Kerkowich purchased 6th Avenue Carwash in 2008. Shelley and Mike decided to bring a Uniglass Plus Ziebart franchise to Prince Albert because it complemented the car wash business. Uniglass Plus Ziebart has been in Canada for over 50 years.
To add to customer experience Shelley has added Desirae to the team for our sales department for Uniglass Plus Ziebart. We would like to welcome Desirae to our team! Desirae Pranteau is the new sales rep at Uniglass plus Ziebart. She has lived in Prince Albert for eleven years and is happy to call it home. Desirae graduated in 2010 from Carlton Comprehensive High school. When she started working in the car industry three years ago she instantly fell in love with the environment. Desirae currently drives a 2010 5 speed manual Pontiac G3 wave. In the future her dream car would be to own a '69 Shelby Boss 302. Desirae has worked in sales for 3 years and we are all excited to have her a part of Uniglass plus Ziebart & 6th Avenue Car Wash!
At Uniglass Plus Ziebart Prince Albert, we offer services such as interior detailing that extract stains and remove bacteria. We also offer SGI accredited windshield replacements and glass repair. The facility offers treatments such as AquaPel ®to keep water moving off your windshield and Securi-Clear® coverage for stone chips without having to go through your insurer. All services offered right at the 6th Avenue Carwash location and help to keep your vehicle looking beautiful and maintained.
Uniglass Plus Ziebart also offers rust protection, undercoating and sound barrier services as well as diamond gloss paint protection and headlight restoration. Before-and-after photos of these services can be seen on their website or Facebook page, showcasing improvements and transformations.
The convenience for the customer is of utmost importance, and both Shelley and her staff explain how important it is to be able to make the customer’s visit as easy as possible. With convenience in mind, the installation of credit card machines on the wash bay means simpler accounting for those that use the wash bays for work vehicles.
Shelley, Mike and Desirae would like to thank the community for voting for them in the Prince Albert BOB Awards, and invite them to come in and see what 6th Avenue Car wash & Uniglass Plus Ziebart can do for you. Shelley appreciates the support they’ve received from the community, especially with the water usage restrictions during the oil spill.
6th Avenue Carwash had previously been nominated for a Business Transformation award by the Samuel McLeod business awards, recognizing the hard work and effort that Shelley, Mike and her team has put in. New technology, new signage, new staff, and so much more over the span of four months was the spur to nominate them for the that award. Now as BOB award winners they are pleased with the response.
We look forward to seeing you soon!

Why we are accredited
SGI has a rating system for its accredited repair shops and has accredited more than 200 collision repair facilities throughout Saskatchewan. All accredited repairers are required to meet or exceed the highest levels of equipment, certification and training and must warranty the repair for a minimum of 1 year (check with your repair shop, some may guarantee their work for longer).
SGI continuously monitors accredited collision repair facilities and awards accreditation levels annually based on performance, with 3 star Elite status being awarded to top performers. While all accredited repair shops are capable of providing customers with quality repairs and services, some shops offer more additional services and convenience, and are recognized accordingly.
Note: You may choose to have your repair completed at a non-accredited repair firm. In that case, it’s your responsibility to ensure the shop offers a warranty, has the equipment, tools and qualifications to complete the repair properly.
